Touring Gettysburg

HI,

I have a friend who wants to take a horseback tour of Gettysburg. Have any members done this, and if so, who do you recommend?

I have done three horse tours, ( with relatives from England) Very good and informative.
lasts about 2hrs...then it was 40.$....Artillery Ridge stables....Be prepared for a sore Butt the next day...

I've also heard good things about Artillery Ridge. That is the place I'm going to go when I can finally get someone to go with me to do the horseback tour!

I have never heard of this so I asked a Ranger who works there about horse tours.
He said there are horse ride tours available near the park, most with a licensed battlefield guide. Those with their own horses can park in McMillan Woods and ride the trails from there.
