Today at Gettysburg 153 years ago

I have been thinking today about 153 years ago. My namesake was wounded in the thigh leading Co. I, of the 4th Texas, in its assault on Little Round Top. Luckily, he was evacuated and recovered in Richmond where he met his second wife. He was promoted to Major in the reorganization three weeks after the battle. A brave and determined warrior.
