That is very hard! Is there any more on what happened to the little dog?

Sorry Diane, I am unable to find anymore on the puppy. I did find a bunch on Sgt William Henry Brown though. Apparently his wife found out he had been killed by reading the news story above in a local paper. And his injuries were pretty horrific.

:eek: That's pretty bad, all right. Hope the pup was taken in. Lots of times the soldiers just picked up dogs along the way. They were good for hunting, good for guarding and good buddies!
