Great pic. Much better than the usual three POW's standing near the fence, which often isn't identified as POW's. I am trying to figure out what kind of shoes? sandals? the center one is wearing. Certainly gives an idea of the non-uniform uniforms the Secesh were wearing. BTW I just realized that this is a 2013 foto. No wonder the POW's look so well fed.

Favorite photo, hands down. Excellent job! That is what real Confederates looked like.

Those are wooden soled shoes copied from a pair that were picked up at the Emmitsburg road by a local farmer after the battle.
Those look like some trans miss boys I know...The Butcherknife Rough-necks.At least I am pretty sure the one on the right is Nick Clark.Hope to tag along with them at the 150th PleasantHill in La in April

Was thinking that too, but you have to admit they look pretty rag tag compare to the average Confederate reenactor out there.
I know aa few of the guys in that outfit. They are Trans miss guys from Tx and Ark.They are a really outstanding unit and call themselves the Butcherknife roughnecks.Pretty sure.

Speaking of authentic reenactors have you heard of these guys? Another very realistic group, was very impressed with their representation of the 4th TX during the Maryland Campaign.
