The American Battlefield Trust's Thoroughfare Gap page states "Georgia regiments from two brigades fought the defending Yankees." Does anyone know what two regiments those were or can point me in the direction of the best source to research?
Benning's 2nd and 20th Georgia hit on one end. Also the 9th Georgia from Anderson's (George T.) hit the other end.
