Don't believe these two are closely related.

This belief is based on the relatives displayed on the respective 'Find-a-Grave' listings for Thomas Henry Rosser (born 1818) and Thomas Lafayette Rosser (born 1836). (Given their birth years, they do not show up as siblings, nor as parent and child). These listings are not conclusive though.

The possibility still needs to be investigated whether they could be cousins or distant relatives.
