Just some odds and ends as the barrel emptys.
The shaving mug is nice as are the 2 tin cups but all 3 could have been civilian or seen the elephant...we will never know.
Therefore I say they all belonged to Gen Hancock at GBurg...ha ha dont write back as I am kidding. Or am i?
The gun barrel portion came from local Monocay before it became a Park and has at.least 1 round stuck in it.
The chess board is typical of the time and its cardboard like construction would have stood up to travel very well BUT as a kid I bought it from the Old Sarge in Merrimack NH due to the fact it has US 1864 stamped on it.
The chess set, complete, is bone and very nice
Found another Lincoln pipe ready for some good southern tobacco.
All good but none great right?
