Heading to the Plantation House?

Sunrise near the horseshoes

Well-done! Dark, bright, somewhat muted layering. No clue on the "horse shoes", except it is probably at your favorite place in NW Georgia and SE Tennessee.

My musing as I view this photo: At least four of the clouds we see are probably the remnants of aircraft contrails, and would not have been seen on the morning of battle. But this isn't meant as a criticism. Not at all. It's just an interesting juxtaposition to ponder. Nice photo, and it obviously took me someplace in my mind!

The bravery of these kids is just amazing. Even in rear ranks bullets and shells are flying everywhere, and all they had for protection were drumsticks and a drum.
Gettmore caught the look of pride on his face.
