I got these last summer at the auction of an old dairy which had in one barn a museum of
antique farm implements and there were a few displays of local found Civil War relics.
There is a complete musket lock and various gun parts and a metal ammunition box, plus.
I brought these to a Civil War relic show in November, and I got some estimates from
the experts as to when these were excavated. Many thought that this display and the other
one were found maybe in the '40s or early '50s. The relics are attached to the boards with
little metal wires and this was done mostly in the years before WWII I understand.
