The Degree On Hallowed Ground

This is a call to all reenactors that are Master Masons in good standing, that you are invited to witness The Wool Hat Boys Confederate Military Lodge #1 confer the Masters Degree on the Resaca Georgia Battlefield on April 26, 2025. The event will start at 10:30AM with a Memorial service, followed by a battlefield discussion conducted by noted author, historian and tour guide, Norman Dasinger Jr. Lunch will be served after the discussion and the degree will follow. There are numerous documented events of the friendly Masonic tie that existed between mortal enemies on the battlefields of the War between the States. The Wool Hat Boys endeavor to keep those stories alive and honor our Masonic ancestors. We ask that every Masonic reenactor that can attend, to wear your uniform and assist with this historical event. More details to follow.
