You're very welcome vpp1234, I'm glad I was able to help!
I know what you mean about using the phone, I use mine to browse around sometimes but I usually like to wait until I have computer access to actually log in/post. I'm a bit slow typing on a phone anyway!
Yes, I do have two GGG grand-uncles that were in the 4th MSM. They both died from disease in less than a year after signing up, so I'm not sure if they were involved in any skirmishes, but I believe both are buried in the Springfield National Cemetery. I've visited the grave site of one, but the other may be in an unmarked grave as I haven't found its location yet.
They were actually the first ancestors of mine that I knew were in the Civil War, so they were what really sparked my interest in the war. I used to think their other brother (my GGG grandfather) was also in the 4th MSM, but later discovered he was actually in an E.M.M. unit from the same area.
Mine was called in 1863 and 1864, very interesting, Missouri in the Civil War in an Important/Vital aspect and some of the most interesting part of the war.
