While you may hear comments regarding the quality of merchandise from Fall Creek, I personally have found it to be quite serviceable. Their off the shelf is not the quality of a Quarter Master Shop item, but it's also a fraction of the price. I feel that most of those comments are from people that can afford Quarter Master Shop. Their quality is great, you do get what you pay for (Just Ordered an Officers Sack coat from Quarter Master Shop as a gift for my son who is taking over as Captain of our battery this year. Custom Tailored, both to his size and Per a period photo. He just received it, Excellent quality and perfect fit as it was custom tailored , but cost over $400)
However as for Fall Creek tents, I can defiantly vouch for their quality. My first on (Purchased about 18 years ago) is still in excellent condition, despite being stored for 10 years and having numerous families of cats and mice raised on it). Just handed it down to my son and replaced it with another one. I will say that their delivery is slow, they make the tents per order. I thought I had ordered mine in time for Gettysburg, I called them to check on it and told them I needed it for Gettysburg. They said they will try to get it here before then. 3 days later, a tent arrived at my door. I noticed the tag had a name removed with whiteout and mine written on it. They had bumped another order so the could get one to me in time for Gettysburg.

I have recently bought 2 tents from Blockaderunner that I'm very happy with. Both times they had the one I wanted in stock so they shipped quickly and they offer complete set up kits which is nice if you don't feel like making your own poles. Their prices are on par with the other big sutlers.
