For those who roll your own tubes this is amazing from the fourth Arsenal by Steve Sheldon it's nice to have a template of steel so doesn't get mis formed beat up after 100 rolls!!! The string I use is just 3 ply number 16-18 I forgot the number but cotton string line it's pretty strong for getting a tight hitch knot I dipped a tiny bit of Elmer glue on powder tube press firmly while rotating my finger to spread the glue for 30 seconds pull off let air dry holds up! Gonna head to the range within week or so

That's a nice tip, alot more sturdy than the cardboard templates I cut out.

Yea for sure! I guess any one can make a metal one but why not support a local busines!
