Now Florida but always a Kentuckian
Swiss steak has been popular since 1880's. It was always a dish for church suppers. This recipe is from "Old Time Recipes To Enjoy, The Kentucky Explorer Magazine"

One pound steak, one cup flour, salt and pepper, four skinned tomatoes, one sliced onion, and water.
