Strange bullet I dug

I was hunting a Mississippi Calvary camp and I was digging the usual stuff, some eagle buttons some sharps just the basic stuff. Then I pulled this strange bullet, it's a 36 cal. My friend thinks it's a dimmick but I'm not sure. What do y'all think? I dug it in an area where dimmicks are never found. I also found a weird cut hammered silver coin

"I was hunting a Mississippi Calvary camp", Confederate or Union camp? Around Abbeville perhaps, many camps there.
Great find!
I've wanted to try over there, there are some forts that way with a lot of earthworks but they have sadly been hunted out. I hunted a spot one time with very little success. This camp I was hunting was north of the talahatchie near a period church where the soldiers stopped
