Hi everyone!

This morning the scout pack participated in the Wreaths Across America cleanup at Stonewall Memory Gardens! Not a Civil War site exactly, but it is right next to the Manassas Battlefield Park and at the back of the cemetery is a large stone mausoleum with large portraits of Civil War leaders. Below are the pictures! (I have seen better looking portraits...especially Longstreet, who looks kind of weird )

Back in the 60's about the only entertainment and things to do was at Pitt's Drive In and Kline's Ice Cream. Both fun and low cost at that.

You probably did, it was on Rt #28 and still open until about 5 or 6 years ago. On the other side of town you could have seen NASCAR greats like Richard Petty and David Pearson run at Old Dominion Speedway back in the 60's. I even raced my Triumph there in the 1980's.

I wonder what they're made of? They seem too reflective for highly polished black granite that has been laser etched, but then again, I don't think I've ever seen a slab that big to be able to judge. Is it possibly black-tinted automotive glass that's been laser etched? However they're made, they are very cool!

It's funny...normally I'd take a closer look but I only ran over to snap the pictures real quick!! I'll be there again next year
