State Militia?

Who are these boys? I can tell they're US State Militia, but can't pinpoint what state exactly.
 
That is a display at the Pamplin Park in Virginia, the painting by Keith Rocco. It depicts a northern unit. I cannot recall which one.

Besides some State Militia corps, there were many volunteer units initially outfitted in gray by some northern States.
Yep, I was just there yesterday. Absolutely enjoyed every minute of the museum and the Breakthrough Battlefield trail. Not too far from my house and easily one of my top favorite historical sites.

I used to have a commemorative postcard with that painting on it with some explanation, but alas, I don't believe I kept it.
