I'm thinking about modeling the first Confederate privateer, The Savannah.

The small schooner right of center, is very similar to the few period images I've found of the privateer.
Thanks for posting a photographic reference that I may be able to use should I follow through with the model.

Is that building on the right the slave market? It sure looks like the one I saw on my last visit!

TinCan- yes, the structure in the right foreground is the Slave Market just under the right hand side of the Trinity Parish steeple (built in 1821, all coquina construction). The Bridge of Lions now is in place to the left (south of) the Slave Market and the Castillo de San Marcos to the north and not seen in the photo.
