Impressions Spring Eyelet Hook Reproductions?

Does anyone out there reproduce the Spring Eyelet Hook (as patented by A. Putnam Jr. 11/11/62 and recommended by Gen Hooker, no doubt the Army's expert on hooks) that soldiers used to convert their gum blankets into ponchos? I could have sworn some company was reproducing them several years ago but cannot recall which. Perhaps a j hook from a knapsack might be subtituted?

I don't recall seeing any around, maybe contact the Button Baron or keep your eye out for an original. I just use a piece of shoe lace and tie mine together when needed
