My kin, cousin or uncle not sure, was among the North Carolinian's of RD Johnston's Brigade killed at Harris Farm on May 19, 1864. My question is; where were the Confederate dead from this fight permanently interred ? I have found no record of a marker for him, not unexpected as he was a lowly private, so I assume he ended up in mass unknown plot. I would really like to at least have an educated guess as to where he wound up. My late father and he shared the same name, right down to the middle name. He is also the soldier who I honor with my handle here, 20th NC was his unit. Any information would be appreciated.
