Spangler's farms

I have been working on my Ancestry for years and my father's mother was a Spangler from Dover PA. Anyways George Spangler and Henry Spangler who lived in Gettysburg are my 4th cousins, 5th removed. (Their GGG Grandfather was my 8th G grandfather from Germany)
I have been to Georges farm June 2016 when the barn was completely refurnished and I was at his brother, Henrys on horseback. I don't live far from Gettysburg and we come to visit a few times a year. I never looked , but, where on Baltimore Pike is Abraham Spangler's farm who died 1876 and was George and Henry's father. Is it still standing? I have a picture of his house with a lot of people in the front yard.

I have looked over the maps I have and cannot find any mention of Abraham Spangler's farm on Baltimore Pike. The map shows every (almost) farm house, barn and shed on the outskirts of the town at the start of the battle. The map follows Baltimore Pike as far as Rock Creek and just over a mile beyond that.

I can see that George and Henry each had two properties. Henry had one tenanted to Jacob Eckenrode, just off the Emmitsburg Road.

Well hello, Downunder! My mother was born in Sydney 1923 and came here 1948 . My one cousin lives in Melbourne, Robert Rider. His brother lives above Sydney, myother two cousins live in Brisbane and Byron Bay and my other two cousins live in NZ. I only have one aunt left.
What I have read and seen the picture of the farm house, says Abraham Spanglers farm, on Batlimore Pike. I will drive back up. I only live 45 min away . I live East of Hanover.

I don't know if this will be helpful, but here's an 1872 map of Cumberland Township in Adams County. If you look along the Chambersburg Turnkpike coming out of Gettysburg, you'll see A. Spangler listed.

Thanks for that! On the map I have, the building identified as A. Spangler on this map, is not identified with any name in 1863.

Also, there are several more buildings in 1872 compared to 1863, which is only to be expected.

Actually there is another A. Spangler on the map that I didn't see last night. He's south of Gettysburg along the Baltimore Turnpike, south of the National Cemetery.

On the maps of 1863 that area/buildings shows as Henry Spangler's place. So perhaps @Koalabay08 can assist here.

I came to Sydney Feb 1973 when Iwas 20 and flew for the first time to see my mums mother . Grandma Frances and then over to see my uncle Nelson NZ Then we came back Feb 1983 to see my grandma for the last time but never up to Byron Bay to see my aunt and cousins.
