Spangler farm relic

The only time this bullet is out of its case, is for a photograph. This bullet encased in dirt, was found by my dad, one of the lucky few who have gotten permission to detect at the Gettysburg horse park grounds, on the Spangler farm. He found several roundballs, and this one. It was very hot and dry, so the dirt was hard as a rock. He decided to keep it like it was, and it's been a proudly displayed relic for years now.
