Somewhere on Henry Hudson's river.
How did southern preachers effect the views of slavery in the south? I know many planters used the old testament to prove that slavery was a divine institution. I also no (around the 1820's?) the abolitionist movement began to gain traction in the south by church goers, but later suppressed by the fire eater secessionists.
