Another image, cooking for the men in camp. Love this one, officer testing what seems to be soup. Thanks to LoC providing tif format we can browse the entire scen.Cook, taster, pot and disinterested soldiers- and two laundresses for good, historical measure. One hopes wash water had nothing to do with forming base for the soup.
