I've debated posting this here, its more period themed then actual CW, but its something I've done and really enjoyed, and thought other Midwesterners might enjoy if they haven't done it.

Its a relaxing trip, a lot of history, The Mississippi River museum is top notch, the boat is beautiful and the food was great. And the Antique Archaeology store is a couple of blocks from where the cruise starts in Le Claire, from the TV show American Pickers. Also a historic riverboat in le Claire that Buffalo Bill used. Also found Dubuque's Ice Harbor which is part of Mississippi River Museum interesting, and the Riverwalk with the Star Brewery and Shot Tower was interesting. Also get to lock thru two lock and dams and see where the Mississippi is five miles wide.

Not affiliated to the boat in any way other then a satisfied customer. Did the overnight cruise a couple years ago, and will probably do again this fall
