Shame it was such an ill-fated vessel for the CSN. I think it lasted what 6-8 months before it was captured by the Union Navy?

THank you sir! and yup its a GREAT museum, and the gardens are as nice as the rest of the house and collection. I lucked out and found the job on....of all places.... Craig's List!!!

Guess its gonna be close to time to start putting those opposing naval impressions together.... might be the opportunity to some "costumed interpretation" in the future :giggle:

you must have a huge mantle then LOL. The Model is probably about 3 feet long. They also have models of the Ironclad Savannah, the CSS Nashville/Rattlesnake, the America/Camilla and the half model cutaway of the Passaic class monitors.
