Sheridan, Katz & Unknown Friend

Well done. That is a keeper for sure.
The left guys suit color worked perfect, but no matter what I tried with the other 2 I couldn't get it to fit. I did a pretty awesome solution, I made 2 copies of the original layer and erased the color of the left on both, then adjusted hue and opacity seperately on the 2 different layers.

It worked fine I think.

I agree, it couldn't have worked out better.

I'm starting to sound like a broken record, "awesome!" I guess, I'll have to come up with some more superlatives, but your work truly is unbelievable. Some of these photos looks as if they were just taken.
Lol, thanks man. While I don't see it with some of the images, I do see it with others. I guess it comes off of doing it, I know what went in to it, and how it looked before and after y'know.

As said on another thread the seated general is August V. Kautz ... oh, the typical american ignorance of letters in foreign names.

The friend is thought to be Frederick R. (Fred) Kautz. Before the war the three served together in Oregon & Washington; Fred as a civil acting commissary.

EDIT:

By the way, there were two more Kautz brothers. Albert served in the Navy, finally becoming a Rear Admiral. John enlisted in the 82nd Ohio.
