Can anyone tell me what finish the Sharps rifle angular bayonets were made with? I know the standard Springfield 1855 was in the white but as the Sharps rifle barrels were blued I wondered if the bayonets were also finished similarly. I believe they were all made by Collins and Co. so could easily be different from the Sharps product. I am interested as I am looking for one and want to know what I should be looking for.
