This is maybe a suggestion rather than a real question or any kind of criticism: Since there's a separate category specifically for reenactment photos, should ones like that be included here along with the landscapes?
I wondered the same thing and hesitated before entering mine this month. As much as I dig my shot, it really doesn't belong in the same category as those beautiful landscapes.
On the other hand, I see why Ami leaves it open. Photo #3 is as pretty a landscape as any.

I'm so tempted to break my own rule* and vote in this contest. That shot is another makes-me-wanna-be-there image!
They all have something special about them really.
#1's glow and alignment is just spot on and breathtaking.
#2 The colors!
#3 Makes me forget that I don't "do outside" very well and instead briefly consider camping. Briefly, but still!
#4 I see the Heavens opening.

#5 Can I please live in that little house and take morning walks in that neighborhood? Thanks!
#6 Mixin' it UP! I don't often see that.

#7 I'll live in this house too. I can split up my time, no problem.
#8 Less of a landscape, more of a man-scape. (
Bad, Lori!)

#9 Defiant and fierce!
#10 Cannon plus look at those trees! Maybe if I use enough bug spray, I can hang out for an hour and forget the rest of the world.
#11 Haunting. Thoughtful.
#12 Gorgeous. The kind of perspective I totally dig.
*(I don't vote if I'm in it because it seems weird to vote for myself, and odd to vote against myself.)
