Aw, sorry for that! @Buckeye Bill was joking and I chimed in with a variation of a popular German joke.
Here, the inhabitants of the coastal region Friesland, the East Friesians, are regarded a bit strange. There is a joke saying their national flag is a white Eagle in a white field - meaning there is nothing to be seen at all. I thought it funny to mimick that with my "white tents in the snowstorm" - likewise meaning nothing to be seen at all.
Sorry for worrying you, there was never a 13th photo.

You rascal.....

lololol

Voted! Seeing all these terrific and entirely different photos, I would love to have 12 chances to vote for each of them! :D
Voted, but really any of them are good enough to win. Tough choice.
Some great photos here, can we vote for them all? I like too many of them to just vote for one.
I join with my fellow forum members above in wishing I could vote for all of them. What great pictures!

I will pick one, but I will regret not being able to vote for all.

I agree with every statement above.

It was tough, but I finally chose one !

This may be the best overall group of images in competition up to this point.

This is maybe a suggestion rather than a real question or any kind of criticism: Since there's a separate category specifically for reenactment photos, should ones like that be included here along with the landscapes?
I wondered the same thing and hesitated before entering mine this month. As much as I dig my shot, it really doesn't belong in the same category as those beautiful landscapes.

On the other hand, I see why Ami leaves it open. Photo #3 is as pretty a landscape as any. :) I'm so tempted to break my own rule* and vote in this contest. That shot is another makes-me-wanna-be-there image!

They all have something special about them really.

#1's glow and alignment is just spot on and breathtaking.
#2 The colors!
#3 Makes me forget that I don't "do outside" very well and instead briefly consider camping. Briefly, but still!
#4 I see the Heavens opening. :cloud9:
#5 Can I please live in that little house and take morning walks in that neighborhood? Thanks!
#6 Mixin' it UP! I don't often see that.
#7 I'll live in this house too. I can split up my time, no problem.
#8 Less of a landscape, more of a man-scape. (Bad, Lori!) :D
#9 Defiant and fierce!
#10 Cannon plus look at those trees! Maybe if I use enough bug spray, I can hang out for an hour and forget the rest of the world.
#11 Haunting. Thoughtful.
#12 Gorgeous. The kind of perspective I totally dig.

*(I don't vote if I'm in it because it seems weird to vote for myself, and odd to vote against myself.)

@Cavalry Charger , I paused for a second, wondering where that final photo was. So it wasn't just you. If not for Faraway's white tent comment, I'd still be looking for it!
