EM file looks great. Guarantee you SM bottom middle with black hat is former Marine. Reenactors with goal of being a line officer need to pay attention to dude top/middle left, that's the look, Reb or Yank. Everyone else needs to chill on the bling. All considered, not a bad dedication pic

To force the shorter soldiers (presumably with shorter legs) to keep up. Even in my prime I could never walk at 4 mph. Best I've ever managed was 3.75 mph and it took me years to figure out that longer legs folks have an advantage in stride length.
