Here's a great photo that got my attention I found this it just is great.Maybe it will help someone out.His name was S.M. Blain I believe.His name was titled as Dr.

And my old eyes read Dr S.M.Clark. Not sure about the dark card facing; I suspect it is Post CW.

It may be someone's ancestor here,I believe he was in the Civil War.

I was just commenting on the style of the photograph. It could be a copy of a carte-de-visite taken during the war. The larger cabinet card format was introduced in the post-war years.

Yeah it's unusual because it seemed like a Gentlemans calling card
