Has anyone here dealt with Monty Whitley / Caladonia? Is he honest and so on. Is he someone be like Dave at Lodgewood, who I can't say enough good things about.

I'm thinking about inquiring about a fire arm from the business.

I don't have any doubts of this gentlemen's business ethics, but it never hurts to get someone else opinion.

I bought a Holly Springs altered M1819 Hall Rifle from him a few years ago. We didn't really converse much about the purchase, but the gun was well photographed so I did not suffer from any buyers remorse. He was prompt in shipping and the rifle was well packed.

My own experience is second hand in that I know a couple guys who have dealt with. The irony is the experience is literally night and day. One can't say enough in praise the other...

As I understand it the really bad experience seems to all be in relation to shipping which is something I don't believe Caledonia would have had any control over.
