I'm sooo ticked off at Ebay frauds!! I made the Confederate Relic Room in South Carolina aware that this con artist is using them to provide provenance for his garbage. He says his father paid $800 for a $40 piece of shell fragment 20 years ago.LOL!!! EVERYBODY needs to call him out and let the Relic Room aware that he's using their name!

Watch his dad really did pay crazy prices for items 20+ years ago. This guy's dad just got suckered 20 years ago by some dealer making him pay 100% markup. "Oh that shell fragment? You like it? Special price of only 800." And now his son is just trying to recoup some of the money lost 20+ years by his doofus dad

This guy is notorious for his fraudulent sales. I contacted the Confederate Relic Room for confirmation. Stay tuned...

I like this story best. Which unit was using mortars at Gettysburg?

It was fired by McCales Navy when he floated up Spangler Spring on a Barrage after taking out a bridge in Baltimore but was sunk as it went up Rock Creek when General Early hit it with a flamethrower. Next week he will put up for auction on E-Bay the recovered anchor from that boat that his Daddy traded 50 years ago a cow and 2 chickens to obtain.

Probably the same guy that is general Lee, among other names on there! Always full of it!

He use to use the horse soldier name until they sent him letters

I actually fought in the battle of Gettysburg Virginia. Wild bar fight in 2013. I remember the artillery well

eBay took away the report button but never did anything about the reports anyway. Anything I reported was still sold. If these bids are in fact real it makes me extremely sad when I think of the families who are trying to regain the money after the collector passes and it's all garbage.

I wonder if eBay may have some other avenue than the "report" button for complaints about fraudulently using the name of a past seller to create a legitimate-sounding provenance? In recent months, eBay has been promoting its guarantee of authenticity. Maybe that applies specifically to designer items, but if the company is trumpeting a policy that says it demands authenticity from its sellers, it may be willing to follow up on spurious claims that items were purchased from the Relic Room. From personal experience, I can say eBay was quickly responsive several years ago when I filed a copyright infringement complaint. I don't believe the offending seller was banned, but eBay made him remove the knockoff item.
