ESCANABA -- There's an effort in Escanaba to make sure people don't forget the men who fought to make this country what it is today.
There are 54 Civil War veterans buried in Escanaba's Lakeview Cemetery. Jeanne Rose is the Lakeview Cemetery Board President. She says, "We have 53 northerns and 1 Confederate."
