Removing Wounding, Genuine Or Drill?

From The Nation Archives ( can anyone tell- been having way too much fun lately- too, too interesting tooling around there ), this Brady photo ' Removing Wounded '. Infantry in the background- an awful lot of ambulances, some crews paying no attention to the camera, a certain randomness about the photo, might be not a drill being photographed by Brady?

On the other hand, if it was a real battle, must have been a skirmish given lack of damage to that field? Still, amazing to see this stuff. Sorry so many, many photos today, can NOT stay away from them when they show up.
