Refocus a bit

This is the former Texas/New Mexico forum, now will be Trans-Mississippi/Dept of the West (west of the Mississippi River) so western theatre and T-M will be separate as during the war.

I admit my focus has always been Missouri, so as a consequence is more Missouri-Arkansas, and threads I create will probally reflect that, but I want the whole department represented so feel free to post anything T-M here, If anyone from further south wishes to co-host and chip in stories from Louisiana. New Mexico, Arkansas or Texas they are welcome to do so as well.

@archieclement get one of the Mods to help you move all of the MO threads over here (@Booner , @Patrick H & others have some great regional threads) I suppose we outta move the guerilla threads over here, too

That's a great idea, if one or more of the mods would be willing to move some the T-M threads from the south and west to T-M if they ever have time.

Such as battles Wilson's Creek, Pea Ridge, Praire Grove, Helena, Red River campaign, Camden expedition

Or some personalities such as Kirby Smith, theopolis Holmes, Thomas Hindman, Richard Taylor, Sterling Price, Van Dorn, Stand Watie, Halleck, Pope, Sturgis, Blunt, Ewing, Harney, Lyon, Fremont, Canby, Curtis, Schofield, Pope, Lane and Dodge
