The biggest Civil War Sesquicentennial event is likely to be this week's Juneteenth 150th celebrations. These are held in many communities around the United States from Buffalo to Galveston. They involve popular participation by plenty of folks who don't consider themselves "history buffs" and many of those participating in them will be African American. These multiple local events are likely to dwarf any other CW Sesqui events of 2015.
