Rally boys, rally!

This was the cry of the Union soldier who believed he was being or has been cheated by the regimental suttler. When a soldier shouted it, the rest of the men raided the sutler's tent or wagon to steal his goods.

I've never heard of a rally being called by a Confederate. I guess they didn't have Sutlers or their money so devalued through inflation that it wasn't worth being a sutler in the Confederacy. Thoughts?
