R.E. Lee talk by Robert Krick

Too long to watch just yet. Time is running short. But anytime I can listen to Krick, I'm interested. Thanks for posting.

I watched this video and was interested to hear Krick number Longstreet as being one of two generals who didn't like Lee. In my admittedly limited reading to date, I didn't get the impression that Longstreet, even with his criticisms of some of Lee's wartime decisions in his postwar writing, actively disliked Lee. Am I way off base here?

Cheers,

Chris

I haven't seen much of Krick's work, and I haven't listened to this link, but I seem to remember getting the impression that it was Krick who did not like Longstreet because of his criticisms of Lee. I never heard of Longstreet not liking Lee either. I think Krick is just interpreting Longstreet's criticism as dislike of Lee simply because that's how Krick sees things.
