Question about downloading CW games

I have a Hewlett Packard Intel CORE 13 8th Gen with Windows 10 and I don't know the first thing about capacity of games that my computer could handle. I have thought about getting a downloadable CW game (I also have Out of the Park Baseball 23), but don't know 1. what games I could get for my computer capacity and 2. if my computer is strong enough to have OOTP 23 and a Civil War game. Any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Having more than one game installed shouldn't impact your computer's performance unless you're planning to play both at the same time. I don't know much about computers or computer games, but more information on your RAM, processor, and storage capacity might be helpful. You can find the first two by typing "About your PC" into the Windows search bar (which will likely be on the bottom left of your screen), opening the program, and looking under "Device specifications". You can find the last one by typing "This PC" into the Windows search bar, opening the program, and looking under "Devices and drives." I recommend using "Snipping Tool" or "Snip & Sketch" (at least one of these should already be on your computer) to take a picture of this information rather than typing it manually.

I think depends some on what type game you desire. A first-person shooter type game will require a beefy video card- due to the action graphics.

An old- style hex based strategy game doesn't require as much CPU/ memory resources.

Check some of these titles. They all detail what system requirements are needed. Compare to what your computer is running- as EzraLewis shared.

I had a Windows 10 until recently and they do pretty well. I was surprised when I got the rather large Star Wars: Republic Commando to work with absolutely no problems.

Though from '97, Sid Meier's Gettysburg! is a modern classic.
