I was on Power's Hill, by myself, on Easter Sunday. I could shut my eyes, and it seemed I could feel, and hear the hustle, and bustle, of the place in early July of 1863.

Took my then 11 y/o son up there awhile back. As I explained what happened there, the significance of the guns there, even Mr. shortattentionspan became quiet and listened for once. Took me awhile to get over there, but I'll be back, that's for sure.
