The following article talks about the food eaten by Jewish soldiers of the 23rd Ohio at their 1862 Seder and the 46th Virginia at their Seder in 1864. We also know some Civil War soldiers kept a kosher diet.

This article tells the story of Corporal Myer Levy's 1865 Passover Seder.

Does anyone know of any other accounts by Civil War soldier's of their Seder and the foods they ate? Does anyone know of other accounts by Civil War soldier's which mention matzah?
