Many classic cocktails use orgeat syrup (pronounced "or-zat") as an ingredient. This traditional sweet almond syrup is blended with orange blossom or rose water. This recipe was popular during the temperance movement and is for a large bar glass. It makes a nice refreshing drink on a warm summer's day.

Fill a tumbler one-third full of ice.
Add ½ wine glass of orgeat syrup.
Add juice of half a lemon.
Balance with water.
Shake well.
Ornament with berries in season.
