Restricted Ole' Miss Statue

Just got back from a family wedding down in Oxford Mississippi. Went to visit the Confederate veteran statue that had been moved in 2020 from the main university "circle" to a nearby cemetery where several hundred dead from Shiloh were buried. To me, the location of the statue made more sense (next to the cemetery) and there was a contextual plaque next to the statue. Seemed like a reasonable compromise . . . .
