Colonel Corn and Private Peanut could'da brought him back.
But the cotton king brought the south to evil,
and didn't let up until the boll weevil.

Dang! I went on vacation in 1981 to Enterprise/FT. Rucker Alabama to visit my step-Brother who was helicopter instructor for the Army.
I had hoped to see the Bole Weevil statue, but alas, it had been stolen, (that was what they told me) and I just saw the pedestal it sat on.
