I need a tutorial on how to use the Atlas. I looked up Cattlett's Station in the index and got serveral hits. For example, "8, I" where the 8 is bold. What does a bold number mean? Another is "22, 5, 7" where the 22 is bold. I am using the ehistory Official Records. Can I plug these numers/letter into the search field and get the map?

Well... first you need to be clear on which index you're looking in. If you're looking in the index that ties the Atlas to the Official Records, the numbers refer to the volume and page of the Official Records, not the ones in the Atlas...

The Plates of the Atlas are numbered in Roman numerals; so if you want maps 5 and 7 on plate 22, you need to look for Plate XXII and look at sections 5 and 7. (I went through and numbered the plates in Arabic numerals to save myself some time and grief.)
