Went to see my dad at the home I grew up in and noticed a CWT nearby that I had not checked out previously. So decided to do a little exploring. So you go down a 2 lane road, past a "no outlet" sign, and you arrive at 3 markers. A CWT one, A John Smith Trail one, and a monument erected by the DAR. Why all these signs? They are at the landing spot for boats at Bermuda Hundred. Where English settlers came ashore coming up the James River from Jamestown in 1613, and where Butler landed his troops to start the Bermuda Hundred campaign.
