I flew a mini drone (less than 250 grams, by FAA rules) to get the picture. That is about a half-pound. It is illegal to fly on any Park Service land with a drone of any size. So, I had to shoot from adjacent airspace. There are a bunch of other rules like you can't fly over people, must stay below 400 feet above the ground, etc. With modern geo-fencing and software in the flying app, you couldn't even take off in a National Park as I understand it.
That's terrific. Thanks for sharing and letting us know it was via a drone. I was stumped otherwise as to how you got this view. Did you notice that you can see the Eternal Peace Memorial on the right? Just a friendly reminder...instead of here, pictures of battlefields should be posted in the forum, "Contemporary Photos of Sites & Events."

That is good information about the forum as I have more photos and videos I'm processing, including under and over Sachs Covered Bridge. I tried to fly completely through the bridge, but was foiled by a skirmish line of ghost hunters.
The fog on Saturday ruined a couple of opportunities to shoot from the Fairfield Road toward McPherson's and Seminary Ridges.
