Nice photo.

My sister took the photograph this past weekend during a visit to Indiana. She is an excellent amateur photographer and has recently become interested in old cemeteries; She came upon Rose Hill and the grave quite by luck.

Far from home any idea what his name is?

My sister lives in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, I'll e mail her to see if she copied the soldier's name off the grave stone..

"There were never such men in an army before. They will go anywhere and do anything."
Robert E. Lee

Zoomed in it appears the man was with the 18th Virginia Cavalry, with a date of death in 1903. I can't see the name or birth date. Not one of Morgan's men.
