Authentic Noodle Kugel

This was a new one on me. I tried it in Katz deli in New York. It was very strange to my tastes, it was like a sweet bread pudding served part of as savoury dish with Pastrami & Potato pancakes. It seems to be long time staple of Jewish cuisine in New York & the rest of America.

Was it sweet like the one I tried. I tasted cinnamon in there aswell. This was my first taste of Jewish cuisine, the matzo ball soup was fantastic.

It was fantastic. I went all in and had something called a Knish before I had the matzo soup.

Trying the local cuisine, huh? I'm not a huge fan of kugel unless I can get a small serving right after it comes out of the oven. But there's so much great Jewish cuisine in New York - it's hard to go wrong.
